How ReelVault works

A guide without decoration: what it does, what it doesn't, and how to get the most from it.

  1. Get the public address

In the app, tap the three-dot menu on the post and pick “Copy link”. On a computer, copy the URL from the address bar. For stories, open one and use “Copy link”.

  2. Choose the content type

Video, photos, reels, stories, IGTV, highlights, sound or profile picture. The choice only changes the hint the server receives; if you pick wrong, the link usually still works.

  3. Paste and request the file

Paste the address, press Fetch and wait a few seconds. One card appears per file, with its thumbnail, its author and the qualities on offer.

  4. Pick a quality and save

Press the button on the option you want. The file lands in Downloads (Android and desktop) or in Files → Downloads (iPhone).

Shortcuts that save time

  • Use the clipboard button: it avoids truncated links when copying from the app.
  • A carousel saves piece by piece; open the card and pick each file.
  • If a link fails, wait a minute: Instagram throttles bursts of requests.
  • On a phone, add the site to your home screen to open it like an app.

What isn't up to us

  • Content from private accounts or profiles that have restricted you.
  • Stories that already expired: they vanish from Instagram's servers.
  • Removing watermarks the original video already carried.
  • Guaranteeing service if Instagram changes its API or blocks the server's IP.

No cost · No account · No caps

Copy the address of a public post and ReelVault hands back the original file: video as MP4, picture as JPG or sound as M4A. No apps, no logos stamped on top, no waiting queues.
